LODD Announcement: Barstow Fire Protection District Captain Garret Miller
It is with heavy hearts the Barstow Fire Protection District and Barstow Professional Firefighters Association Local 2325 share news about the passing of one of their own, Fire Captain Garret Miller.
Captain Miller passed away peacefully on October 21, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones. He served as a member of the Barstow Fire Protection District since September 10, 2017. He also served with the US Forest Service in the San Bernardino National Forest and Fort Irwin Fire Department.
His commitment to public service and his community earned him deep respect among his colleagues and the community. At this time, we ask that you please keep his loved ones in your thoughts and prayers.
