LODD Announcement: Engineer Timothy Hall of the Sacramento Area Firefighters
It is with great sorrow the Sacramento Area Firefighters, Local 522, share news about the passing of one of their own, Engineer Timothy Hall of the West Sacramento Fire Department.
Engineer Hall, 59, passed away on September 23, 2024, in the line of duty during a training exercise. Hall was an 18-year veteran of the department. During his tenure, Hall was a fire investigator, an active member of Urban Search and Rescue Task Force 7, and a Fire Engineer with a passion for serving his community. He was also an active volunteer with Clarksburg Fire Protection District.
Hall's true calling to become a firefighter struck later in his life, and he graduated from the Sacramento Regional Fire Academy in 2006 to make his dream a reality.
Engineer Tim Hall leaves behind a lasting legacy of courage, commitment, and care in the communities he served. The only things he loved more than his profession were his wife, children, and parents.
His dedication and honorable service to the citizens and his community have left an indelible mark, a testament to the impact of his commitment and bravery.
