LODD: Roseville Fire Captain Tracy Chimenti
Roseville Firefighters Local 1592 is saddened to announce the passing of Fire Captain Tracy Chimenti (ret.) who died Saturday after a courageous battle with job-related pancreatic cancer. He was 54 years old.
Brother Chimenti began his career with the City of Roseville Fire Department as a Firefighter in 1982. He was promoted to Engineer in 1987 and then to Captain in 1996.
He served the citizens of Roseville for 28 years before retiring in December of 2010. Brother Chimenti was known for his kind nature and dedication to the job.
He was commended for an off duty field save in 1990 after performing CPR for one and one half hours while riding a train. He was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman, and served as a Boy Scout leader in his off hours.
Brother Chimenti is survived by his wife Karen, and 13-year-old son

A celebration of the life of Roseville Fire Captain Tracy Chimenti will be held in Roseville this coming Saturday:
