LODD: Vista Fire Firefighter/Paramedic Andy Valenta

Vista Fire Department and Vista Firefighters, Local 4107 are saddened to announce the loss of one of their own.

Firefighter/Paramedic Andrew “Andy” Valenta passed away on April 25, 2021 after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Prior to joining Vista Fire Department, he served as a paramedic intern and received the Award for Excellence in Paramedic Internship. In 2013, Brother Valenta received Vista Fire Department’s highest honor, Firefighter of the Year. He was known for his hard work, professionalism and positive attitude.

Brother Valenta is survived by his wife and two daughters.

Memorial Information:
A celebration of life will be hosted on May 22, 2021 at the Moonlight Amphitheatre, 1250 Vale Terrace Dr, Vista, CA 92084. The service will begin at 11:00am. Please Click Here to RSVP.
