Memorial Service for Kevin Woyjeck
Kevin Woyjeck, 21, was among 19 Prescott AZ firefighters who died battling the Yarnell Hills Fire in central Arizona. On Tuesday, July 16th, at 11:00am, Kevin was honored with a memorial service in Long Beach.
Kevin was a firefighter from a family of firefighters. He was the son of Los Angeles County Fire Department Captain Joe Woyjeck, and two of his uncles were also firefighters. Kevin was a former member of the Los Angeles County Fire Department's Explorer Post 9 and worked with an ambulance service in Southern California before beginning his firefighting career. He first worked as a wildland "hotshot" in South Dakota, before going to work for the Granite Mountain Hotshots in April.

Memorial services for Kevin Woyjeck were held on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at 11:00am at Christ Cathedral in Garden Grove (formerly known as the Crystal Cathedral), 12141 Lewis St, Garden Grove, CA.
