Jalal Eddine Aineb was a 12-year veteran of the San Francisco Fire Department who immigrated to the United States from Morocco in 1989. After moving to San Francisco, Jalal attended San Francisco State University for college and spent his time teaching children martial arts when he wasn’t in school. In 2005, his dream of becoming a firefighter came true when he became a proud member of the San Francisco Fire Department. Jalal is remembered by friends and fellow firefighters as someone who always did what he could to help out his immigrant community. He succumbed to the effects of job-related cancer in March, 2017. Jalal is survived by his wife, Atika, and his children, Malek and Mohammed.
