Timothy Alan Anderson
Department: Sacramento County Airport
Deceased: April 04, 2017
Timothy Alan Anderson’s life was dedicated to the service of others. In 2002, he followed his father’s footsteps into the military and fire service, enlisting in the United States Air Force. In 2004, Tim brought his Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting training to the Sacramento County Airport Fire Department where his vigor and hard work lead him to a position on FEMA Urban Search & Rescue Task Force-7 and promotion to fire captain. Tim’s passion for fire and rescue was only surpassed by his love for his family. To his children, he was not only a father but a superhero, coach, and the funniest guy they ever met. He died in 2017 as a result of job-related cancer. He is survived by his three sons, Bryce, Mason, and Gavin, as well as his wife, Lacey.
