Brian K. Bruns

After an extensive history with the United States Navy as a Flight Engineer, Brian K. Bruns, 47, ultimately landed with Aero Union Corporation in 1995 as a contact pilot with the United States Forest Service to fight wildland fires. At the time of his death, Brian had achieved the rank of lieutenant commander in the Navy, and spent 8 months out of the year aboard firefighting air tankers. He is remembered as a great pilot and a friend for life. Captain Bruns is survived by his parents, Erma and Kenneth, and three brothers and a sister
