Known as a true family man, loving husband, and caring friend, Michael Butler fit the mold of being a Firefighter Paramedic perfectly; he dedicated his time to his family, his fellow fire service brethren, and the Los Angeles City Firemen. Always willing to help someone in need, Michael was known to be a very considerate, respectful, and courteous man to all those who knew him. He was killed in the line of duty, alongside Michael McComb and Eric Reiner, while attempting to save the life of a young girl from a car wreck.
