Anthony Cano served the citizens of the Lakeside Fire Protection District with honor and distinction for five years. He loved the fire service and began his career as a Reserve Firefighter with Lakeside Fire District and shortly after, promoted to a Firefighter Paramedic. His involvement in the district included mentoring new paramedic students and reserve firefighters and he enjoyed participating in the Lakeside Firefighters charity softball team. Anthony passed away in July of 2021 from a job-related illness and is survived by his two children.
