Miguel Cervantes served the citizens of Rancho Cucamonga with pride and honor for 17 years. He began his fire service career in 2000 with Norco Fire Department. Miguel promoted to the position of Engineer, and served on the Rancho Cucamonga Fire District Honor Guard, Technical Rescue Team, and as a Recruit Academy Instructor in multiple disciplines. Miguel will be remembered as a compassionate, kind-hearted, and devoted father. Miguel passed away in February following a courageous battle with job-related cancer and is survived by his wife and their three children.
