Jason Andrew Cortez proudly followed in his father’s footsteps into a career in the fire service where he served the citizens of San Francisco with pride and honor. He had many passions, including boxing, paddle boarding, Jiu-Jitsu, and most of all loved spending time with his wife and sons. Jason lost his life in a training accident at the fire department training facility.
