Captain Mark Dana was a third-generation firefighter following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather. Mark proudly served his community for over 33 years. Perhaps his proudest moment was when his oldest daughter joined the Montezuma Fire District and his son joined the Explorer Program for Suisun Fire District. Mark enjoyed jet skiing, fishing, camping and riding motorcycles. Mark passed away from a job-related illness in December of 2017.
