Randall “Randy” Duarte started his career at the Los Angeles County Fire Department as a student worker and went on to become a firefighter in December of 1995. He served the citizens of Los Angeles County with honor and distinction for over 30 years. Randy was awarded with a Certificate of Valor in 2013 and Certificate of Merit in 2017. Randy was a wellrespected firefighter and will be remembered for his dedication and commitment. Outside of work, he loved coaching his children’s sports teams and watching them play. Randy passed away in January of 2019 of a job-related illness.
