For 23 years, Richard B. Faust proudly served the San Francisco Fire Department, exemplifying a commitment to the service of others over the course of his career. In addition to his service to the department, Richard sought to give back to his community through his involvement with the Pacifica School District Board of Trustees, as well as his role on San Mateo County’s groundbreaking LGBTQ Commission, the first of its kind in the state. He leaves behind his husband, Richard Clark, and their son, Raphael. Richard died in 2015 following a battle with job-related cancer.
