Bryan Golden, alongside Brett Laws, passed away while attempting to save an elderly woman trapped within her burning home.  The two firefighters were unable to escape the burning home.  Bryan was always praised for his hardworking, selfless, and dedicated demeanor while serving within the fire service.  He joined the Stockton Fire Department in 1996, after he had gained experience as a firefighter on the Travis Air Force Base.  He is remembered as an enthusiastic individual, who greatly enjoyed weightlifting and the outdoors.
