Joseph “Joe” Albert Grubba’s firefighting career spanned over 44 years and he served his community with pride and honor. Joe was an accomplished firefighter and trained many young recruits starting their careers at Herald Fire Protection District. Outside of his work he enjoyed his time with friends and was a keen hunter and fisherman. Joe passed away after a battle with job-related cancer in January 2021. He is survived by his wife, son, and daughter.
