Allen Ivan Chronister, Jr. served the citizens of Long Beach with honor and distinction for over 30 years. He followed his two cousins into the fire service and absolutely loved his profession. Outside of work his hobbies included fishing, computing and ham radio, where he received several awards for his contacts across the world. Allen passed away due to a job-related illness in June of 2017.
