Second-generation firefighter Eddie Keen loved helping people, whether it was putting out fires, training recruits or educating children at the San Bernardino County Fire Department firehouse, where he worked for 34 years.  Off duty, he was fascinated by reptiles and amassed an impressive knowledge about snakes and lizards.  His two life loves reflected in his two sons- Randy, who wants to be a medic for the fire service and Ricky, who wants to be a reptile veterinarian.  Eddie's life was cut short by job-related respiratory and cardiac problems.
