David Kreske was a valued firefighter and strong family man. He served San Bernardino City Fire Department for over 29 years and was known for his hard work, organization, sharp intelligence and attention to detail. He had a passion to teach young people about the fire service and the importance of becoming trustworthy and responsible adults. He loved spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed golfing, hiking, camping, snow skiing and cruising on his motorcycle. His life was cut short from complications of job-related esophageal cancer.
