Reguberto J. Landeros
Department: Fillmore
Deceased: January 07, 2016
Reguberto “Rigo” Landeros’ childhood dream was to join the fire service. He started working as a part-time volunteer firefighter in Fillmore in 1991, after completing a reserve firefighter academy. Reguberto’s love for his hometown of Fillmore and the fire service led him to climb the ranks and become Fillmore’s fire chief in 2009, a position in which he served with honor and distinction until his death in 2016. Reguberto never failed to put the needs of others before his own. The only thing above Reguberto’s love for the fire service and his community was the love he had for his family. He is survived by his wife, Laura, and his children, Christina, Daniel and David.
