Since he was a young boy, Trent Richard Lindholdt knew he wanted to be a firefighter. He began his career at 19 with the U.S. Forest Service. He worked in served several Northern California departments including Rocklin, Foresthill and Lincoln before settling in Auburn, where he spent the last 21 years of his career. Outside of the fire service, Trent loved hunting, fishing, and football. He was a regular participant in the Central Valley region’s annual “Guns N Hoses” charity football game and coached football. Trent succumbed to the effects of job-related cancer. He is survived by his wife, Kristen, his daughters, Courtney and Emma, his mother, Gail, and his sister, Erica.
