Ted Marsh

Ted Marsh served as a member of the Ventura County Fire Department for over 21 years. He was highly respected by all of his peers and earned love from all those who knew and worked with him. Ted was selected as the 1991 Fire Prevention Officer of the Year. He served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam as a helicopter pilot and received the Army Aviator Badge, Vietnam Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Air Medal with 14 Oak Leaf Clusters, and Bronze Star Medal. Ted participated in the California State Firefighters Olympics, where he played on the basketball team and ran track. Off duty, he dedicated many years as a volunteer working with many youth athletic programs.
