Captain Robert McLaughlin’s father and grandfather were both firefighters, so being a firefighter was a natural fit for Robert. He received recognition from Congress regarding the Southern California Electrical Grid Failure and his actions while on duty in support of the community. Robert loved riding and working on his full-dress Harley Davidson. He also enjoyed camping and spending time off duty with family, friends, and co-workers.
