Roberto Medina always had a strong interest and desire to help people in his community. He began his 22-year-long career as a firefighter and was the first department-sponsored paramedic. Roberto also served as the Union President and received the St. Florian Award in 1996. He was an avid outdoorsman, fisherman, hunter, and excellent chef. Roberto passed away from a job-related illness in May 2022. He is survived by his wife and daughter.
