Marcus Pacheco loved the fire service and began his fire service career in 1988. Prior to joining the United States Forest Service, he worked for Susan River Fire Protection District as a volunteer firefighter. In addition to his extensive career, he served as a Volunteer Firefighter and Training Officer for the Standish-Litchfield Fire Protection District. Marcus passed away from complications of job-related COVID-19. He is survived by his wife and three children.
