Steven Padgett joined Oakland Fire Department in 1990 and was promoted to Lieutenant on September 28, 2002. Steven served the citizens of the City of Oakland with honor and distinction for 28 years. He passed away from job-related cancer in February 2023, and is survived by his wife and two children.
