Since he was a young boy Christopher wanted to become a firefighter and follow in his father’s footsteps. He began his firefighting career with the Marine Corps El Toro Air Station Fire Department in 1995. In 1998, he joined the Long Beach Fire Department and proudly served the citizens of Long Beach for 20 years. Outside of work, he had many hobbies and interests including camping, fishing, surfing and riding motorcycles. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Christopher passed away in February from job-related illness.
