Kyle Rutherford followed in his father’s footsteps into a career in the fire service. Kyle began his career as a Firefighter with the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District in 2015 and was later promoted to Engineer in April 2018, proudly serving and protecting the Sacramento community of North Highlands. Outside of his work, he was an avid outdoorsman enjoying camping, hunting, and fishing. He passed away from a job-related cardiac event in March 2021.
