Lee Scarbrough

Serving as the role model for his children, nephews, and subsequent grandchildren, Lee Scarbrough has inspired so many to become a part of the "family business" of firefighting. In 1927, he was fatally injured in a gas explosion. He had continued to serve the Richmond Fire Department until his unfortunate death.
