Eric Shepherd was born on July 12, 1978 and grew up in Carson, California. He was adventurous and enjoyed motorcycling, snowboarding, mountain biking, and traveling abroad. He also loved firing up the barbeque grill at home and cooking with his brother and sister firefighters at the station. Eric was wise beyond his years and lived his life with grace, honor, dignity, and integrity. Eric died of a job-related heart attack on July 18, 2011.
