Jeremy Stoke began his fire service career as a seasonal firefighter for CAL FIRE and was an example of selfless devotion to duty, honor and service to his community during his 14-year career. A bear of a man with a large heart, Jeremy volunteered as a Little League coach and with a number of local charities. On July 26, 2018, as the Carr Fire exploded and threatened Redding, Jeremy Stoke lost his life as he braved searing flames to save lives and help evacuate threatened residents.
