Doug Taylor always put family first, whether it was his own or his extended firefighter family. He worked for 21 years at Cathedral City Fire Department, beginning his career as a reserve before being hired as a Fire Fighter / Paramedic in May 1989. Doug was promoted to Captain on March 24, 1994. Doug was an amazing devoted husband and father. In 2010, Brother Taylor lost his battle with job-related brain cancer
