Known among his peers as í_íone of the good guys', Ed Teran lived life to the fullest. His heart and passion for the fire service was unparalleledí__ he loved every minute of protecting the lives and property those that he was so proud to serve. With seventeen years on the job, Ed was also a proud member of the Riverside Fire Department's Urban Search and Rescue Team. He loved a challenge. Ed's terrific sense of humor, strong work ethic, and devotion to his job and family will be remembered as a source of happiness to all of the lives he touched. Forty-three years of memories and laughter will help those who knew him best. Even in the darkest of times, they will find comfort in his great smile and reflect on the great man and hero he was. Ed leaves behind his beloved wife, Nanci and daughter, Lauren.
