San Bernardino County FD's Station 15 became a brighter place when Vance Tomaselli joined as a paid-call firefighter in 1979.  Through the years, he planned pancake breakfasts, Christmas parties, and other fire station events and was very committed to his firefighter family.  In 2004 when his wife of 38 years passed away, he dove deeper into his work at Station 15.  Vance answered his last call to duty when a structure fire broke out in the San Bernardino Mountains.  Enroute, he suffered a stroke and passed away five days later.
