Franck W. Tremaine began his fire service career as a volunteer at the age of 18, and would spend the next 40 years devoting himself to the profession and the community he was sworn to protect. Over the course of his career, Franck received many accommodations and accolades, including “Firefighter of the Year” awards in 1985, 2002 and 2008. His long record of service was instrumental in shaping the careers of many young and aspiring firefighters. Franck was incredibly devoted to his family, taking every opportunity to entertain and care for the ones he loved. He is survived by his wife, Geneva, and their children, Sarah and Kyle. Franck died in 2015 after suffering a job-related heart attack.
